Clothes make the man

Love is real , real is love
Love is feeling , feeling love
Love is wanting to be loved

Love is touch, touch is love
Love is reaching, reaching love
Love is asking to be loved

Love is you
You and me
Love is knowing
we can be

John Lennon wrote this for she who will not be mentioned on our family blog. Imagine what he would have written had he been looking at my new tie purchased here in Wellington as opposed to she who will not be mentioned.

I give up. What the heck does this mean?

I'm implying that had John Lennon my tie for inspiration as opposed to Yoko Ono, he might have outdone himself lyrically.

This must mean that if your tie could sing, it would wail, in a tone-deaf way, "Give Pink a Chance."

It has to be noted that John did have neckwear on for their "Two Virgins" portrait. It's unfortunate that I was compelled to research that, because now I will associate your new love with something pretty far from a double fantasy.

Anyway, compliments on the tie. Worn with the right tri-blend--50% Paul, 25% George, 25% Ringo--and you're dressed for success, maybe to begin another musical revolution.

I compliment Mikey on his research and dedication, but I must say that with this post it has become painfully obvious that it is nearly time to return to the States.

A post about your recent tie purchase?

Think about that for just a second ... okay ... done?

You had nothing else to share? No gluten free pizza? No gluten free beer? A nice chianti you've tried?

It's a great tie but we have to agree that if the tie purchase is the highlight of New Zealand living right now, Mo'ville wins, hands down! Jane , Elise and Ted

Ok, when was the last time someone was brainwashed by a tie? I know that Marc's new tie is the kindest, bravest, warmest, most wonderful tie I've ever known in my life, but still.

Did you guys see that killer whale transported across Auckland? Apparently it had been beached on one side of town, and the rescue team thought it wise to have it re-enter the sea in calmer waters on the other side.

When asked by other orcas how it came to be stranded on dry land, the rescued one replied, "I thought I was Lawrence Harvey for a moment."
